Time Flies... Poetry
Time by M.R.
Time flies when you're having fun
And sometimes time feels slow like a snail,
Time appears fluid and dynamic
But at the same time, it is strict and linear,
I can't be broken and can't be reversed
It's as strong as a diamond, maybe even stronger
Everyone only has a limited amount of it,
So, you should use it wisely,
At the end of your time, you will look back,
In awe or in anguish
So be careful and Carpe Diem in your own way.
Time Goes By by L.H.
Time
Seconds
Minutes
Hours
Days
Weeks
Months
Why do we use these terms?
Time is an illusion
among many others
Time affects mood
Mood affects time
Around me are only three
Months pass by
taking over my mind
What a weird time by K.K.

The school year is almost over I look back and think it went by so fast but so slow at the same time.
It is now time to move on
Time to go to high school
This time of my life has been weird
Stressful
Hard
Noting I could ever imagine
The one this thing time knows is when it will be normal again
Time by A.Z.
Time is precious
You never have enough,
But that’s what makes it valuable.
Time is both short and long,
A luxury and a curse
And needed for everything to happen.
Time to go, time to grow
Times to keep and times to release
Memories to store as the years go on.
How much do we waste of it?
How do we use it?
Whatever way you spend time,
Remember,
The rarity is what makes a thing precious.
Time Flies by V.W.
People won cheering
Storm horrible felling worry
Seemed life would be back to normal
Almost forgotten the exam results
Great surprise with good marks
Suddenly wardrobes empty trunks packed
Boats sailed across the lake
Putting on jackets into platform
Injustice Poetry
Despicable by R.B
When the promises are broken;
You can try to stall.
When all hope is lost;
You may take a fall.
But who will be there for you,
If anyone at all?
All sizes and all ages;
Are sick in the mind, it’s contagious.
They act as thought the rules don’t apply,
It’s outrageous.
Turn on the news,
You see kids in these cages.
There’s no difference between you and I;
We share the same sunshine from the same sky.
When it rains it rains on both you and I;
So why must so many die?
So, don your armor,
Prepare your swords
For the things I speak,
Are not merely words.
Some think our system should be adored;
But this tyranny will no longer be endured.
Nothing I say will change these days
But the fire is already ablaze.
The government must change it’s ways
To clear this great haze.
Justice by M.B.
Justice looks like people not being harmed by police officers
Justice feels like being understood
Justice sounds like the protesters cheering for what's right and the government hearing it
Justice smells like clean air instead of tear gas
Justice tastes like victory
Justice 5 Senses by I.M

What justice looks like: To me, justice looks like people of all genders and races being happy together with no kind of injustice or discrimination of any kind. In this perfect world, there would be no need for police officers or any kind of law enforcement.

What justice feels like: Justice feels like when something goes the way that you feel is the best way possible. This kind of justice rarely happens but when it does the feeling is unreal. It's kind of like when your bully is finally caught bullying you and is punished.

What justice sounds like: Justice sounds like when a person who deserves to be punished or is guilty is called out and is either embarrassed or punished for something bad that they did.

What justice smells like: When rightful justice is about to be served it's almost like you can smell it in the air. It smells like bacon being cooked on a Sunday morning. Or your clothes when they come out of the dryer.
What justice tastes like: When justice has been served it leaves a good taste in your mouth. When justice is not served it feels like you just ate something you are allergic to. But please don't eat something your allergic to, especially if that thing is cats. Anyways, when justice is served it tastes like sweet victory.

Injustice vs Justice by V.P.

Injustice is terrible and not correct
It looks like people that tease and disrespect

But justice looks like people of many cultures gathering to enjoy the night
People helping each other out no matter if they’re black or white.

Injustice feels really horrible, like you’ve been punched in the stomach
But justice feels like your in paradise, drinking a cocktail and laying on a hammock

Injustice sounds like an argument that seems as if it will last all lifelong

But Justice sounds like waking up to the birds singing their beautiful song

Injustice smells like a big group of skunks just stunk up the neighbourhood

But justice smells like the heavenly aroma of baking that would taste so good.
Injustice tastes like bitter, sour, burnt spinach

But justice tastes like the soup and ratatouille that remi from ratatouille made.

Injustice, it’s disgusting.

Justice, it’s the greatest discovery.
Time Flies... Poetry
Time by K.Z.
A school year, a new beginning Having the time of my life with friends A plan to follow Change, fear and confusion, anger and sadness Lost in time, days flying by Change, understanding a new normal, but a longing for the past Hope for new year, a wish to hold on to.
The Time by R.B.
It was strange
It was stressful
It was hard
It seemed really long and really short at the same time.
But now that its almost over,
I'm looking back and I'm thinking, huh
That was the weirdest year of schooling I've probably ever had.
With the pandemic making a massive contribution to that.
I remember that at lunch me and my friends would talk about it before the pandemic became real.
When it was just in china,
It was very weird and at that point in time I never would have known that,
It would chance the rest of my school year and just life in general so much.
I never knew that it would end up changing my life so much now and probably forever.
Then of course there was online learning.
Now of course we have the stress I always have when I work on anything plus doing at home,
And of course, learning all the online things while also handling everything else.
I'm not going to sugar coat it,
It was a very hard year.
Then of course you have to take into account grade 8,
where you get the most work and the most difficult work.
It has been like climbing up a mountain all year,
First term the work gradually increases,
Second term you get the most work,
Finally, third term I have to learn all the online stuff and then do all the other work.
My time this year was weird.
Time Flies Fast by Y.L.
Time Flies, when you’re having fun.
Time was stressful,
Challenging,
Sad,
Mad,
Fun,
And happy, until the end of term two,
But Covid-19 became a thing.
And changed term three.
I remember that time when I played basketball with my peers and friends,
And ate lunch with my friends/classmates and played card games together,
All of those now became memories.
Term three was a new time
I wake up,
And I go straight to my laptop, not to school.
I stared at my laptop for half of the day,
Which made three months feel like 3 weeks.
Time goes faster every year,
But this year was a lot faster than the previous years.
It was as fast as bungee jumping off a big mountain,
This time of the year was the weirdest year ever.
It’s Time by T.L.
Time to hit the road,
Time to go on,
Time to go on to high school.
Time to leave,
Time to hear the school bell ring, rinnnnng,
Time to leave middle school.
Time to say goodbye,
Time leaves you behind,
Time.

Injustice poem
Justice to me is treating everyone the same,
No more no less,
No matter your faults, color, religion, etc....
It looks like multicultural neighborhoods,
Living in harmony.
It feels like happiness when looking at the news,
It sounds like peace and quiet, with no need for riots,
It smells like business thriving,
the smell of fresh bread.
It tastes like dishes from across the world,
Ready to be ordered from your home.
It means the same education for all people.
Justice is good for all people!
